Music on the Mount

AS A BIG thank you to the local community and all its supporters and friends, St Michael's Mount will open its doors free of charge on Sunday for its sixth annual Music on the Mount event.

Organised entirely by the islanders, the festival celebrates every kind of music with a programme of events as rich and varied as the history of the Mount itself. Throughout the day visitors will be treated to live music and dance from swing and rock to Cornish music, samba drummers and belly dancers.

Local musicians, school choirs and entertainers will all be on hand so get ready for full brass bands, saxophone quartets, swing bands, Celtic fiddlers plus some traditional Cornish dancing.
